Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction workers on-site, specifically focusing on telecom projects, trenching, and utility installations.
  • Ensure all work is executed according to project plans, specifications, and timelines.
  • Manage on-site operations, including excavation, trenching, and the installation of telecom infrastructure.
  • Oversee the laying of cables and the installation of related utilities in compliance with Du and Etisalat standards.
  • Monitor and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and timely project delivery.
  • Inspect work areas and completed work to ensure compliance with company quality standards and client specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Civil Engineering Degree or certification in construction management or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role, particularly in telecom trenching and utility projects.
  • Proven experience working with Du and Etisalat projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of civil construction techniques, trenching operations, and utility installations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.

Certifications:

  • Specify any required certifications, such as OSHA First Aid or relevant safety training.
