About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Planning Specialist to join our Strategic Transport Business in the Middle East. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a variety of transportation planning studies, including large-scale transportation master plan assessments and traffic impact studies for multi-disciplinary planning projects in the public and private sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead transportation planning studies, including transportation master plan assessments and traffic impact studies
  • Work closely with project managers and other planning department staff to ensure timely completion of analysis, reports, and plans
  • Develop and implement transportation planning strategies to meet client needs
  • Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure integrated solutions
  • Conduct transportation planning and modeling tasks, including data analysis and report writing
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation planning and modeling
  • Strong working knowledge of transportation planning and modeling software, including VISUM/VISSIM and SATURN
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in transportation planning or a related field
  • Experience working in the Middle East and familiarity with local transportation planning practices and standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software
