Overview

As a Safety and Security Specialist at Rotana Hotels & Resorts, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment for both guests and staff. Your vigilance and proactive approach will ensure the safety of all individuals within the hotel premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular surveillance rounds and patrol all areas of the hotel to ensure the safety of guests and employees.
  • Respond promptly to emergency and non-emergency situations, providing assistance in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Identify and report any safety hazards or irregularities, including unauthorized individuals or aggressive behavior.
  • Compile and investigate loss reports, determining appropriate follow-up actions.
  • Monitor designated areas through closed-circuit television (CCTV) to ensure ongoing safety.
  • Ensure that all fire exit doors are unobstructed and that fire safety equipment is properly maintained and accessible.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with hotel standards and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Skills

Education and Experience
You should ideally possess certification as a Security Officer, with prior experience in hotel security or a related field. Additional certifications such as CPR, First Aid, BHV, or proficiency in using an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) are highly valued.

Language Proficiency
A strong command of English, both written and spoken, is essential. You must be able to adhere to safety and security protocols without compromise.
