About the Position

The Academic Research Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) at Global Studies University, Sharjah. Reporting to the Director of OIE, this position is responsible for collecting and analyzing institutional data to inform strategic decision-making.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar capacity in higher education. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze institutional data to support accreditation efforts and compliance reporting
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date databases of institutional data
  • Design and administer surveys, questionnaires, and other data collection instruments
  • Analyze and interpret operational organizational goals and strategies
  • Prepare timely and accurate reports using statistical analysis and data presentation tools
