About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Marine Surveyor to join our team at Oil and Gas Job Search Ltd. As a Senior Marine Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting surveys and inspections of marine vessels and equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct surveys and inspections of marine vessels and equipment to identify any defects or non-compliance with regulatory requirements
* Develop and implement strategies to improve survey efficiency and effectiveness
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that survey findings are accurately reported and addressed
* Provide technical guidance and support to junior surveyors

Requirements:

* Qualifications from a tertiary institution within a relevant field of engineering or physical science (minimum two years program)
* Qualifications from a marine or nautical institution and relevant seagoing experience as a certificated ship officer
* Minimum three years of experience working as a Surveyor II
* Understanding of ABS strategic technical positioning in their respective sector of the marine industry
* Minimum eight years of experience in an Engineering or Survey Capacity with an IACS member Classification Society
