We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Officer to join our team at Emirates Logistics LLC.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, with experience in supervising and coordinating H&S related matters in a facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining H&S checklists, arranging for proper PPE, and conducting daily rounds to identify hazards.
They will also be expected to maintain discipline and harmony in the facility, assist in recording incident reports, and inspect safety equipment.
This is a mid-senior level position requiring excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work proactively as part of a team.
The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, so we are looking for someone who is energetic and ready for physical activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate on all Health & Safety (H&S) related matters in the facility.
- Prepare & Maintain H&S checklist identified in the facility.
- Arrange and ensure all workers are wearing proper PPE.
- Conduct Daily rounds of the facility to identify any abnormalities and hazards; coordinate with supervisor for the same.
- Maintain discipline and harmony in the facility in coordination with the Supervisors and the Manager.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A strong background in health and safety, preferably with a NEBOSH or IOSH certification.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good MS Office skills.
We offer a competitive salary package, including a monthly salary, live out allowance, and food allowance.
In addition, we provide benefits such as once-in-two-years air ticket to home country, annual leaves, medical insurance, and company transportation.
This is a full-time position, and we require the successful candidate to be available for a minimum of 2 years.
