At ADNOC, we're looking for a skilled Plant Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our process plant and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out assigned operational work safely and efficiently, adhering to standard operating procedures and company HSE standards.
- Perform routine checks on equipment to identify any abnormalities and report defects noted in equipment, coordinating with supervisors to arrange for servicing.
- Adjust and monitor speeds, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates as necessary to ensure effective shutdown and start-up operations.
- Prepare plants/equipment for maintenance to ensure accurate functioning and synchronization with other equipment.
- Receive chemicals, maintain stock/consumption registers, and prepare chemical batches required for processes, adhering to procedures and following all HSE rules.
- Operate related machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to company standards and instructions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services, and a responsible environmental attitude.
- Obtain work permits, follow up ongoing jobs, and monitor contractor activities, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
- Carry out duties as Auxiliary Fireman or Site Safety Officer as required during emergencies, as per Facility Response Plan.
- Communicate and follow supervisor instructions to carry out duties efficiently and safely.
- Prepare key Performance Indicator commitment checklists for management perusal.
