Role Overview

The Low Carbon Solutions Process Specialist will play a crucial role within the Low Carbon Solutions team, focusing on innovative technologies aimed at reducing carbon emissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Low Carbon Solutions team to drive project initiatives.
  • Lead technical specialization in global tendering for low carbon technologies.
  • Conduct preliminary studies and conceptual work on Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and Hydrogen applications.
  • Assist in the standardization and enhancement of the core product offerings.
  • Execute simulations and analyses, developing heat and mass balances.
  • Create Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for low carbon technologies.
  • Size various process equipment, including pressure vessels, two-phase separators, heat exchangers, compressors, filters, and pumps.
  • Engage in Front End Engineering Design (FEED) studies.
  • Foster process expertise to identify and promote commercial opportunities.
Qualifications

Essential: MSc in Process or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent; or BSc in Process or Chemical Engineering with over 5 years of relevant experience.

Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in the process engineering sector.
  • Proficient in process engineering tasks, including P&ID design, HAZOP analysis, process simulation, and equipment design.
  • Familiarity with gas processing technologies, particularly Amine systems, Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA), Triethylene Glycol (TEG), and Solid Desiccant dehydration systems is advantageous.
  • Experience with Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) and Hydrogen technologies is a plus.
