Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose network problems for clients both remotely and on-site.
  • Architect, plan, and deploy LAN/WAN/Wireless network solutions for both permanent and temporary configurations.
  • Install network equipment, peripherals, and services in accordance with standards and project requirements.
  • Conduct site assessments and generate Bill of Quantities (BOQs) based on client specifications.
  • Address escalated issues by troubleshooting both cloud and local infrastructures.
  • Install, configure, and manage firewalls, VPN concentrators, and other security devices from Ubiquiti, Cisco, Palo Alto, and Fortigate.
  • Set up and maintain load balancers associated with network systems.
  • Serve as the network and security Subject Matter Expert for projects involving network and security elements.
  • Oversee and maintain VPN gateways and related services.
  • Respond to and mitigate network security incidents such as Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks.
  • Establish and manage network security and virtualized infrastructures.
  • Lead projects focused on network enhancement and maintenance.
  • Travel for temporary installations as required.
  • Document projects, including network diagrams and layouts.
Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator.
  • Professional certifications (Cisco, HP, Juniper, Ubiquiti, SonicWall, Fortigate, Palo Alto, Barracuda).
  • Experience with Peplink routers.
  • Strong background in network administration and architecture.
  • Thorough understanding of communication protocols (primarily TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF).
  • Exceptional troubleshooting abilities.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco ASA and Fortigate Firewalls.
  • Familiarity with LAN/WAN, internet, email systems, telecommunications, and data communications; standard operating systems, and storage solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Ekahau Sidekick and wireless setup analysis.
Relevant Experience:
  • TCP/IP networking, including IP classes, subnets, multicast, NAT.
  • WINS, DNS, and DHCP network troubleshooting.
  • Microsoft OS and Server technologies.
  • Remote access methods.
  • Backup and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Patch management technologies and processes.
  • Wireless protocols and services.
  • Network analysis tools.
