Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional to join our team as a Senior Accountant/Asst Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial transactions, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and assisting in budget preparation and forecasting.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations, as well as excellent analytical skills to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Review and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Follow up with banks for LC, release of DP documents, and coordination for day-to-day operations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Handle accurate VAT calculations and timely submission of VAT returns.
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions to optimize financial performance.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Collaborate with auditors during the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and addressing any inquiries.
  • Assist in budget preparation and forecasting, providing financial projections based on historical data and market trends.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a MUST.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or Bookkeeper.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in accounting and reporting software such as Quick Books and Zoho would be a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities.
