Job Summary

Fujairah National Group is seeking a highly skilled Joinery Draftsman to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans that meet the specifications of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and create 2D and 3D plans for architectural and joinery projects, including detailed shop drawings for joinery and interior fit-out.
2. Prepare freehand section details for site personnel and execute interior works as per design.
3. Develop and manage material lists, and prepare shop drawings as per site conditions and BOQ.
4. Prepare and draw plans, as-built drawings, and transmittals and drawing submissions.
5. Collaborate with clients and other departments to manage design functions on fit-out projects.
6. Stay up-to-date with industry knowledge, including interior designing, joinery, and fit-out industry trends.
7. Utilize AutoCAD, 3D Max, 3D modeling, Photoshop, Adobe, and Microsoft Office to create high-quality designs.
8. Ensure designs meet safety and aesthetic standards, adhering to UAE Authority Guidelines.
9. Develop general knowledge of the interior fit-out/joinery industry and competition.
10. Apply knowledge of space planning, commercial interior environment, fit-out detailing, specifications, suppliers, and materials.
11. Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Requirements

1. Diploma in Design, Architecture, or Joinery is preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
3. Excellent English language skills.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of AED4,000.00 per month.
