Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Mixologist to join our team at Rotana Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our bar operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Service Excellence: Provide prompt and courteous service to all guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
• Beverage Knowledge: Possess in-depth knowledge of all types of wines, liquor, and cocktails, and be able to make recommendations to guests.
• Training and Development: Conduct regular training sessions for bar staff on beverage pouring, cocktail mixing, and up-selling techniques.
• Inventory Management: Manage bar inventory, including ordering and stocking of supplies, to ensure efficient operations.
• Guest Satisfaction: Work closely with the Bar Manager to achieve total guest satisfaction and organizational profitability.
• Bar Operations: Ensure the timely set up of the bar areas and completion of all mise en place works, in line with opening hours.
• Guest Complaints: Handle guest complaints directly or refer them to the Bar Manager.

Requirements

• Education and Qualifications: Diploma/degree in hospitality or vocational training in food & beverage, with a minimum of two years' experience in bar operations.
• Language Skills: Excellent command of English, with additional skills in guest service and interpersonal communication.
• Leadership Experience: Previous experience in minor leadership and supervisory roles is a definite plus.
