Key Responsibilities:- Pre-Construction: Conduct thorough quantity take-offs, verify subcontractor quotes, and assist the QS Manager as needed to ensure accurate project estimates.
- Construction: Prepare and process payments, variations, and submittals in a timely and accurate manner. Analyze material usage statistics to identify areas for improvement.
- Material Management: Compile and verify material information from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Quality Control: Prepare and submit Material Approval Requests, and follow up with the consultant Engineer to secure approval.
- Payment and Variations: Process subcontractor payments and variations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual requirements.
- Measurement and Reporting: Measure quantities related to approved drawings and documents, and compare with contractual requirements.
- Cost Control: Measure repair costs for defective, repeated, replaced, or unused works or materials in coordination with the Project Quantity Manager.
Education: A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Quantity Surveying is required.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in building construction, preferably in the GCC region, is essential.
