- The successful candidate will lead and manage a team of MSS engineers ensuring the delivery of high-quality innovative security solutions.
- They will oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of security infrastructure ensuring alignment with customer requirements and best practices.
- The selected candidate will ensure effective management of security technologies including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM platforms, and other core security tools.
- They will provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team on complex security issues, offering solutions to meet both internal and client needs.
- Candidates must have experience collaborating with other departments (e.g., SOC, product development) to ensure that security engineering efforts are integrated into broader business and security strategies.
- 9 to 12 years of relevant experience in security engineering with a focus on Managed Security Services (MSS).
- In-depth knowledge of security technologies such as firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and other critical security platforms.
- Proven experience in leading engineering teams, including project management, resource allocation, and team performance optimization.
- Strong understanding of network security principles, cloud security, and cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO).
- Hands-on experience with security architecture design, security protocols, and incident response.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to implement integrated security solutions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership and mentorship experience in guiding engineering teams through technical challenges and driving innovation.
