Job Summary

National Petroleum Construction Company Limited is seeking an experienced 3D Modelling Team Leader to lead our 3D model activities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering and experience working with SP3D, PDMS, E3D & PDS.

Main Responsibilities

The 3D Modelling Team Leader will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and integrating all 3D model activities across various projects.
  • Ensuring the quality of 3D models by developing and revising procedures and job notes.
  • Managing clash checks and resolving conflicts in a timely manner.
  • Applying change management principles and incorporating vendor input into the model.
  • Providing independent progress reports on model development.

Key Accountabilities

The 3D Modelling Team Leader will also be responsible for:

  • Updating and producing model setup and review procedures.
  • Developing Job Notes for all disciplines to ensure accurate attribute population and correct model build.

Model Setup and Operation

In this role, you will:

  • Manage catalogue and specification updates for all disciplines.
  • Ensure standard hierarchy setup for all projects.
  • Lead clash checking activities and produce reports for PEM's / EM's.
  • Track and organize vendor data updating and produce status reports.
  • Participate in internal 3D model reviews and model reviews with clients as required.

Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:

  • A Bachelor of Science in a relevant Engineering field.
  • Synchro / 3D Max Training/Certification is desirable.
  • Minimum 12 years' experience in the Energy sector or similar industry.
  • Extensive experience with SP3D, PDMS, E3D & PDS.
