Penspen Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Process Control Engineering Lead to join its team in Abu Dhabi.
Main ResponsibilitiesThis key engineering role will lead discipline performance on projects and provide expert technical design leadership as required.
Technical Expertise- In-depth knowledge of engineering processes and international codes, standards, and practices is essential.
- Experience with all aspects of design from concept to detailed design, including preparation of specifications, data sheets, and sizing calculations for flow elements, control valves, and safety relief valves.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical analysis skills for engineering problems and experience with the following tasks:
- Preparation of technical requisitions, instrument schedules, I/O schedules, cause-and-effect diagrams, logic diagrams, loop diagrams, hook-up diagrams, instrument interconnection diagrams, instrument location drawings, cable routing drawings, and bills of material.
- Development of specifications for control and automation systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA, HMI), flow metering skids, on-line analyzers, ESD Systems, fire and gas detection systems, telecommunication and public address systems, access control systems, etc.
- Essential qualifications include 6-10 years of Oil & Gas Design Experience.
