We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Instrument Specialist to join our team at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City - SSMC. As a Medical Instrument Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control and safety practices.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in sterile services (CSSD) field, with current knowledge of CSSD systems management, quality assurance, and procedures. They will also possess an Associate degree in a health-related field with an emphasis on microbiology, or equivalent qualifications.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate all required equipment and machinery accurately and safely.
- Maintain appropriate records, and monitor quality control and infection control standards.
- Provide asset management and support of surgical instruments and trays.
