  • A highly skilled and motivated Embedded Linux Systems Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded Linux systems for various devices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and technologies.
  • Collaborate with open-source communities to contribute to and leverage existing projects.
  • Develop and maintain C and C++ codebases for embedded systems.
  • Ensure high-quality code and adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in embedded Linux and related technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, STEM, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with Linux packaging (Debian, RPM, Yocto) and open-source communities.
  • Proficiency in C and C++ programming languages.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a globally distributed team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with graphics stacks and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, HTTP/REST).
  • Basic understanding of security best practices in IoT or server environments.
  • Good communication skills, ideally with public speaking experience.
  • IoT/embedded experience, from board and SoC to OS and apps.
  • Some experience with Docker/OCI containers/K8s.
