Quality Control Inspector - Painting and Coating
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector - Painting and Coating to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that painting and coating applications meet the required standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections and tests on painting and coating applications to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. Review and approve painting and coating procedures, qualifications, and related documentation. Monitor surface preparation, application processes, and environmental conditions. Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of inspections. Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to address quality issues. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Participate in quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 6 years of experience in QC inspection related to painting and coating in the Oil & Gas industry. Diploma in Engineering or a related field. Certification in NASE Level 1 or BGAS Grade 1/2. Strong knowledge of painting and coating standards, codes, and specifications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Willingness to work in a challenging and dynamic environment.
