Key Responsibilities
  1. Teaching and Learning
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within the class.
  • Organize the classroom, learning resources, and create displays to encourage a positive learning environment.
  • Use technology to enhance teaching and learning, and provide opportunities for students to develop their skills in this area.
Assessment and Data
  • Take responsibility for the attainment and progress of a class of children in the EYFS, ensuring they reach above expected expectations.
  • Meet the requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development using Target Tracker.
  • Use data to inform further planning and interventions, and provide regular feedback to parents and carers on student progress.
Behaviour Management and Duties
  • Follow the Al Mamoura Academy behaviour management policy and promote positive relationships with pupils and parents.
  • Manage classes effectively, using approaches that inspire, motivate, and challenge pupils.
  • Carry out playground and other duties in a punctual, interactive, and proactive manner.
Wider Professional Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of teaching and learning across the school by sharing best practice and participating in school CPD and T&L initiatives.
  • Support with organizing and taking part in school events, outings, and activities.
Requirements
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the new Early Years Curriculum.
  • Ability to teach all areas of the Early Years Curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
