Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Epidemiology Professor to join our faculty at AJMAN UNIVERSITY. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and service in the Department of Public Health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching and Curriculum Development: Develop and deliver high-quality courses in epidemiology and public health, considering the three fundamental university standards: Teaching, Research, and Services.
  • Student Evaluation and Feedback: Evaluate and monitor individual student progress, providing constructive feedback to sustain student success.
  • Research and Publication: Conduct high-quality research in the field of epidemiology and publish research outcomes in reputable journals and conferences.
  • Curriculum Development and Expansion: Pursue research in relevant biomedical sciences and/or pedagogy, organize and manage instructional resources, course outlines, and community networks.
  • Service and Accreditation: Support and participate in accreditation initiatives, maintaining relationships with students conducive to learning.
  • Professional Development: Actively seek out methods, procedures, and resources to best achieve course objectives, supporting the growth and development of the department.
