Key Responsibilities- Apply world-class QA best practices to development processes and technical stacks.
- Create and maintain detailed automated test cases.
- Oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Estimate, prioritize, and plan testing activities.
- Experience in Agile methodology.
- Leverage the team and developers to implement end-to-end testing.
- Review requirements and provide knowledgeable feedback to ensure thoroughness and detail.
- Keep thorough documentation of all project aspects, including deployment communication, detailed bug tickets, and comprehensive manual and automated test cases.
- Actively participate in project development meetings, such as backlog grooming and sprint planning.
- Ensure major software releases meet high-quality standards.
- Proactively communicate with Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, and Developers about open issues and test status.
- Hands-on Automation QA engineering skills and mindset.
- 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer.
- Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Experience implementing automated testing solutions at an enterprise scale.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize tasks based on priority.
- Solid grounding in different levels of testing: Web services/API testing (using Postman), functional testing (both desktop and mobile), regression testing, and performance testing.
- Experience working with automation framework tools such as Cucumber, TestNG.
- Experience in both backend and frontend testing strategies.
- Experience as a developer/familiarity in the following languages: Java.
- Experience building QA and CI/CD tooling and configuration set-up that can scale across multiple products and deployments with high standardization & maintainability.
- Experience or understanding of the Airline domain is a significant advantage.
