Manage Logistics Operations

The Freight Forwarding Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of logistics operations, including preparing dispatch documents, generating freight bills and invoices, and maintaining accurate records of dispatched calls, driver routes, route changes, and delivery and pickup times.

Comply with Transportation Regulations

The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and laws, including those related to hours of service, vehicle inspections, and cargo security.

Monitor and Improve Operations

This includes reviewing drivers' logs, monitoring truck repairs and maintenance schedules, and logging customer feedback to continually improve our services and build long-term relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule Drivers

The Freight Forwarding Manager will be responsible for scheduling drivers for freight deliveries or collect shipments and packages.

Prepare Dispatch Documents

The manager will prepare dispatch documents, generate freight bills and invoices, and maintain accurate records of dispatched calls, driver routes, route changes, and delivery and pickup times.

Monitor Vehicle Maintenance

The manager will monitor truck repairs and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize our operations.

Review Driver Logs

The manager will review drivers' logs, including dispatched calls and arrival times, to ensure that our services are being delivered efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication Skills

The successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, drivers, and other stakeholders.

Strong Analytical Skills

A strong analytical mindset is essential for this role, as the Freight Forwarding Manager will need to plan routes, manage logistics, and maintain accurate records.

Leadership Skills

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve our goals.
