About the Job

The Engineering Manager - Automation is responsible for driving our automation strategy forward. The successful candidate will have a strong background in automation technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to improve the performance of automated systems, including ASRS, Electronic Monorail System, Warehouse Management Systems, AGVs, and in-house logistics systems.
  2. Integrate innovative technologies, such as IoT, Robotics, and AI, to enhance operational efficiency and technological advancement.
  3. Diagnose and troubleshoot controllers and devices from various brands, improving system reliability.
  4. Lead the team in diagnosing and troubleshooting industrial communication protocols, such as Profibus, Profinet, CAN, LAN, Industrial Field Bus, BACnet, Modbus, CC-link, and similar protocols.
About You

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our automation strategy. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics/ Automation and Control Systems.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience working with Industrial Automation and Control Systems, IoT, Robotics, and AI, and managing a team.
  • Sound knowledge/experience in Engineering Legislation with strong exposure to Quality standards and Safety system practices.

You should be able to maintain records and prepare reports, promote adherence to ISO 45001:2018 standards, and have excellent written, verbal, and communication skills.
