For the Love of Bread Organic Bakery is a small business that specializes in artisanal bread products. We take pride in our handcrafted products and strive to make them available to as many people as possible through various sales channels. Our ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the food retail industry and a proven track record of building strong relationships with buyers and category managers at regional and national supermarkets.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leveraging their existing relationships with supermarket buyers and category managers to secure new placements and expanded distribution for our products. This will involve managing and growing existing account relationships, developing new partnerships with restaurant chains, cafes, and food service providers, and navigating vendor approval processes, category reviews, and merchandising opportunities. The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication and presentation skills, as they will be working directly with ownership to align account strategy with production capabilities.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the food retail industry, including supermarket category management, contract negotiation, product placement, and promotional calendars. You should also have a proven track record of growing brands through retail channels, as well as experience navigating vendor requirements for retail food placement. Additionally, you should have valid driver's license and reliable transportation for frequent client visits.
