About the Role

As a Strategic Procurement Lead at CHALHOUB Group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing and demand management strategies for assigned categories of spend. Your expertise in procurement will enable you to effectively manage RFP materials, analyze proposals and vendor capabilities, negotiate with suppliers, and select the best partners for our business.

You will lead and coach a team responsible for strategically partnering with business unit leaders to provide procurement expertise and support purchasing opportunities. This includes counseling business unit leaders on purchasing processes, technology capabilities, and policies to ensure successful procurement lifecycles.

A key member of our business unit leadership team, you will facilitate the entire sourcing process and collaborate closely with stakeholders to select and award business to suppliers. With a strategic business mindset and organizational savvy, you will present an executive-level presence while balancing multiple stakeholder interests simultaneously.

Your long-term strategic planning efforts will focus on assigned sourcing categories, including advanced multi-year category strategies designed to anticipate enterprise-wide requirements while optimizing forecasted shifts in supply markets, industry trends, and supplier economic cycles.

To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or any equivalent principle, 3+ years' experience in handling Technology Category Procurement in a matrix organization, and exceptional negotiation skills.
