Utility Operator

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following job responsibilities:

Policies, Processes & Procedures
- Follow all relevant policies, processes, procedures, and controls within the respective Operations Centre to ensure that procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while ensuring high-quality work is carried out safely and in a cost-effective and consistent manner.

Day-to-Day Operations
- Perform day-to-day operations within the respective Operations Centre to ensure that work processes are implemented as directed by the Supervisor, whilst complying with established policies, processes, and procedures.
- Receive daily direction from the Supervisor on activities to be performed and ensure work is completed in a timely and safe manner, and in line with the required quality standards.

Operations
- Assist Senior Operator/Technician in handling and transferring material, tools, and equipment to the required location ensuring compliance with safety, environment, and quality standards.
- Comply with the set housekeeping standards and procedures in order to ensure that the Operations Centre is clean and hygienic.
- Participate in team pre-start meetings to understand planned activities.
- Report all accidents, incidents, and near-misses to the Supervisor and assist in incident investigations to avoid re-occurrence.

Safety, Quality & Environment
- Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure employee safety, legislative compliance, and a responsible environmental attitude.

Related Assignments
- Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.
