About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to join our team at Parker Consult. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective and timely implementation of all logistics daily operational goals inclusive of shipping functions and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the development and implementation of logistics strategies to improve quality, productivity, and process efficiency.
  2. Ensure proper incoming and outgoing cargo control via our CIGMA system, including regular stock-take activities.
  3. Maintain optimal stock levels by considering demand and lead time.
  4. Establish and manage relations with warehouses to ensure smooth operation.
  5. Negotiate with suppliers, customers, and external parties to drive business growth.
  6. Support standardization of processes to accelerate logistics and enhance efficiencies.
  7. Resolve problems concerning logistics systems, imports, or exports, or customer issues.
  8. Monitor team performance and develop, articulate, and maintain logistic process documentation.
  9. Provide regular updates and insights to upper management.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain industry, or related discipline, and about 4-5 years of relevant working experience in Dubai, especially inventory control. The ideal candidate should be able to work under pressure and independently with minimum supervision, possess demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, and be self-motivated and able to work independently.
