iTech Engineering Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled BIM MEP Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will play a crucial role in developing and analyzing the virtual construction process to maximize construction efficiency and job cost savings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain BIM models for project-specific requirements, including schematic and detailed level models.
  • Coordinate with BIM service providers and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Train project personnel in the use of BIM tools and technologies.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of MEP content libraries.
  • Configure and administer common data environments.
  • Responsible for model administration and update as-built and revised Building Information Models.
  • Derive material quantities and develop the modeling schedule.
  • Prepare 4D simulations and define scopes of work.
  • Site inspection and liaison with trade contractors.
  • Update and distribute documents and models to subcontractors.
  • Prepare and maintain submittal logs and expediting logs.
  • Attend and manage model coordination meetings and document project preconstruction meetings.

Requirements

  • A degree in Engineering or Mechanical background.
  • Minimum 5 years of project experience with duties as a lead coordinator or engineer.
  • Autodesk Certified Professional.
  • Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, and BIM modeling.
  • Intermediate to advanced working knowledge and experience with Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
