About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cashier to join our team at Al Muhandes HR Consultancy. As a key member of our retail team, you'll be responsible for handling cash transactions, maintaining accurate records, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Management: Process sales transactions accurately, including cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments. Maintain records of transactions and ensure proper invoicing of jewellery items.
  • Customer Support: Greet customers warmly, answer payment-related questions, and handle exchanges, refunds, and returns according to company policies.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain updated stock records for jewellery items during billing and perform daily cash reconciliation to identify discrepancies.
  • Security and Compliance: Adhere to cash handling and jewellery security protocols, ensuring compliance with all company policies and regulations.
  • Additional Duties: Assist in packaging and secure handling of jewellery items, and support the sales team during busy periods.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a cashier, preferably in the jewellery industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in accounting or finance is a plus.
  • Proficiency in operating billing systems and POS machines.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills for accurate billing and cash reconciliation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to assist customers effectively.
