CNC Operator Role

We are seeking a skilled CNC operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines for cutting and production.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform visual inspections on incoming raw materials and verify them against drawing requirements.
  2. Operate CNC machines properly by creating cutting programs manually or importing files.
  3. Read and interpret engineering drawings.
  4. Produce cut parts and items to meet dimensional tolerances without defects.
  5. Monitor quality by taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, adjusting, and reprogramming control.
  6. Aware of different types of CNC machines and materials.
  7. Adhere to quality assurance procedures and processes.
  8. Comply with all applicable safety procedures and policies.
Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Good technical skills in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and sketches.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience operating CNC machines.
  • Experience with plasma-equipped CNC machines.
  • Dedication to safe working practices.
  • Ability to solve problems with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed.
