Job Description

**Project Control Manager**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Control Manager to join our team at Oil and Gas Job Search Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of costs and progress to clients and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost and Progress Reporting: Act as the focal point for cost and progress reporting, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to clients and contractors.
  • Project Monitoring: Monitor overall project progress, achievement, and non-achievement of major milestones, and analyze and forecast performance in relation to plan.
  • Critical Path Management: Identify, monitor, and report against the project critical path, providing early warning to the Project Manager of any potential slippages.
  • Communication: Identify and establish the communications interfaces essential for the delivery of cost, planning, scheduling, and risk deliverables and services.
  • Reporting: Report project status and KPI to management.
  • Work Breakdown Structure: Develop the project Work Breakdown Structure.
  • Cost and Planning Control: Manage the implementation of the cost and planning control structures in alignment with the project Work Breakdown Structure.
  • Project Work Approval: Manage and oversee the project work approval process in terms of accurate cost code allocation and initial budget set-up and approvals.
  • Budget Control: Timely control and forecasting of budgets, ensuring that the impact of all change requests are properly assessed and included in the budget and schedules if applicable.
  • S-Curve and Histogram Analysis: Accountable for accuracy and timeliness of S-curves and histograms produced by team.
  • Gantt Chart Management: Accountable for delivery and ongoing maintenance of the projects fully resourced, logic linked Gantt Charts within preferred planning software to the agreed project and programme requirements.
  • Resource Analysis: Accountable for providing analysis of current and future resource needs for the project and programme to the Project Manager.
  • Project Recovery: Manages and oversees the recovery process following identified slippages or significant float erosion. Responsible for timely and accurate development and issuing of project change orders/ variations in accordance with contract/assignment change notifications.
