About the Role

Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly skilled Oncology Palliative Care Nurse Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Admission and Assessment: Complete timely patient admission and ongoing assessments, developing and updating individualized plans of care based on patient needs.
  2. Direct Care and Evaluation: Provide direct care and evaluate outcomes, incorporating principles of family-centered care to ensure comprehensive support.
  3. Monitoring and Documentation: Monitor and document patients' condition and effectiveness of care and interventions, maintaining accurate records.
  4. Education and Support: Assess educational needs of patients and significant others, considering cultural and special concerns, and provide teaching and educational materials as needed.
  5. Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications in accordance with approved policies and protocols, utilizing barcode scanning for accuracy.
  6. Treatment Implementation: Carry out prescribed treatments in accordance with approved policies, protocols, and educational material procedures.
  7. Team Collaboration: Attend multidisciplinary team meetings as required, contributing to collaborative care planning and decision-making.
  8. Symptom Management: Identify symptoms and work with the Palliative care Physician for further medical management, ensuring comprehensive symptom relief.
Requirements
