Job Description

The Senior Legal Counsel - Commercial will be responsible for assisting the Head of Legal – Commercial & Technology in managing legal risk across all geographies where FAB operates. This role requires working autonomously, but also seeking input from the Head of Legal on complex matters.

Core Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and support to the business, aligning with FAB's strategic objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Legal to establish, disseminate, and implement FAB's legal policies.
  • Complete legal tasks and projects in a timely manner and respond to legal queries assigned by the Head of Legal.
  • Support FAB subsidiaries and international branches by providing general legal oversight on legal risks associated with their products and services.
Litigation Management
  • Supervise and manage litigation and disputes in the UAE and abroad.
  • Represent FAB and its subsidiaries before courts, Notaries Public, court experts, and police to resolve matters in the best interest of FAB.
  • Report relevant litigation matters to the Group General Counsel and Heads of Legal, and provide updates to stakeholders.
