Operations Engineer Lead

We are looking for a skilled Operations Engineer Lead to play a critical role in managing Amazon's fast growth and technology innovation needs. This individual will be responsible for leading overall vendor development program focusing on critical path to ensure on time delivery with the objective to accelerate our end-to-end project timing.
The Operations Engineer Lead will understand the details of an Amazon Fulfillment Center and will deep dive on key MHE project delivery and performance by working in close collaboration with equipment suppliers, Global Procurement and several Engineering teams. This role requires strong level of ownership and high work capacity, bias for action, dealing with a level of ambiguity, proven experience in Program and Stakeholder Management and a passion to build capability and relationships, both external, at suppliers, and internally with robust work processes.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and MS Project) at an advanced level
- Fluent in Spanish and English (B2+)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level
- Experience working with and managing third party vendors
- Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing
- French, Polish, Arabic, Portuguese, Turkish, Afrikaans and Zulu are considered desirable
