Job Summary:

Parsons Oman is seeking a highly skilled Electromechanical Construction Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and coordinating various aspects of construction projects to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct thorough inspections and tests to verify that work meets contract specifications
* Oversee and inspect mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation work to ensure quality control standards are met
* Attend to Inspection Requests (IRs) and take prompt action as required
* Maintain accurate records and documentation, including daily diaries and quantity calculations
* Prepare and submit reports as necessary to meet contractual obligations
* Verify that only approved materials are used in construction
* Report on installed quantities to facilitate payment and change order work
* Identify potential conflicts, issues, and problems, and propose solutions to supervisors
* Provide technical guidance to junior inspectors as needed
* Participate in the development of job safety practices and safety reports
* Contribute to the development of quality control reports and procedures

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in engineering or a construction-related field, or equivalent work experience
* Minimum 5 years of electromechanical construction work experience related to infrastructure, road, and general landscaping projects
* Experience in construction supervision, preferably in Abu Dhabi
* Familiarity with parks electrical systems, landscape lighting, irrigation, and other relevant systems
* Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications, and communicate effectively with stakeholders
* Strong knowledge of English grammar and composition

Preferred Skills:

* Proficiency in basic computer usage, Microsoft Office, and project management software
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet multiple deadlines
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
