Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environment Lead to join our team at Ghobash Group. As a Health, Safety and Environment Lead, you will be responsible for leading our HSE efforts, ensuring a safe working environment, and complying with local and federal regulations.

About the Role:
  • As a Health, Safety and Environment Lead, you will be responsible for conducting regular risk assessments, developing control measures, and implementing corrective actions.
  • You will also be required to stay up-to-date with relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • This role requires excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct regular risk assessments and develop control measures to mitigate identified risks.
  2. Lead investigations into electrical and instrumentation-related incidents and accidents.
  3. Develop and implement emergency response plans for electrical and instrumentation scenarios.
  4. Monitor key performance indicators related to electrical and instrumentation safety.
  5. Prepare and submit regular reports on HSE performance to project management.
  6. Collaborate with project teams to ensure safe work practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • NEBOSH IGC certification or equivalent.
  • 8 years of experience in HSE, with at least 3 years in the UAE.
  • Fluent in English.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
