We're seeking a Technical Director Bridge Engineering to join our global team at WSP. As a senior leader, you'll be responsible for overseeing complex bridge engineering projects and driving business growth through innovative proposal development and strategic partnership building.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead bridge design and delivery projects, ensuring compliance with international standards and protocols.
- Oversee multidisciplinary teams, providing technical guidance and mentorship to ensure project success.
- Conduct thorough technical reviews and quality assurance checks on design deliverables.
- Navigate client expectations and stakeholder needs by fostering effective communication.
- Drive business growth through innovative proposal development and strategic partnership building.
- 12+ years of experience in bridge and structural design, preferably within an engineering consultancy.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng, PE, or equivalent) is highly valued.
- Demonstrated expertise in reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, and steel bridge structures.
- Proficiency in software such as MIDAS, LUSAS, Sofistik, STAAD.Pro, or similar.
- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi regulations and authorities is advantageous.
