Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation: Design electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, and low-current systems in line with project requirements and UAE regulations.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Prepare detailed technical drawings, load schedules, and single-line diagrams using CAD or BIM tools. Ensure compliance with local authority guidelines (e.g., DEWA, ADDC, SEWA) and international electrical codes.
  • Site Inspections and Troubleshooting: Conduct site visits to monitor installation, ensure adherence to specifications, and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers to ensure coordinated system integration. Review and approve contractor/shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in electrical design and supervision, preferably within the UAE construction or infrastructure sector.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, and electrical design software. In-depth knowledge of UAE authority regulations and international electrical standards.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
