Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance work, repair, and testing of equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and industry standards to meet the requirements of work requests or work orders.
  2. Conduct preventive maintenance activities and participate in assigned plant shutdown activities, ensuring timely completion of job tasks.
  3. Verify completed maintenance activities to ensure that the job is performed as per requirement and complete the maintenance activity report.
  4. Conduct inspections and exercise vigilance to identify any developing problems in the assigned area and report any issues.
  5. Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and test various types of process control instruments and relay logic to maintain the instrumentation systems as designed.
  6. Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on all equipment on site as well as during machine scheduled or unscheduled shutdowns to ensure the availability of all equipment in reliable conditions during operation and prevent unforeseen trips.
  7. Perform field and/or system modifications of control elements and/or control loops as per plant change requests and assist in updating all related plant drawings to reflect the actual changes, thus enhancing plant operation in line with the management of change procedure.
  8. Assist in upgrading and retrofitting new control instruments to the existing panels in the field and main control room as and when required for completion of modifications and the PCR in line with standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in the relevant field.

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

At least 4 years of relevant experience in preventive, corrective, and troubleshooting maintenance and plant instrumentation.

Revenues/ Budget:

As per approved financial budget.
