Key Responsibilities
  • Reservoir Engineering Studies: Conduct thorough reservoir engineering studies to evaluate the potential of oil and gas reserves, including well testing, decline curve analysis, and fluid flow behavior.
  • Reservoir Management Strategies: Develop and implement effective reservoir management strategies to maximize production rates and optimize recovery.
  • Well Completion and Production Design: Design well completions and production facilities, including the selection of artificial lift methods and production equipment.
  • Production Enhancement Techniques: Analyze well performance data and implement production enhancement techniques to improve reservoir performance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with drilling engineers to develop well plans and evaluate drilling and completion operations, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Reservoir Simulations: Perform reservoir simulations to predict reservoir performance and optimize field development plans.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Petroleum Engineer in the oil and gas industry.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong knowledge of reservoir engineering principles, including well testing, decline curve analysis, and fluid flow behavior, and proficiency in reservoir simulation software, such as Eclipse or Petrel.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
