Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Duct Fabricator to join our team at Emirates Electrical & Instrumentation Company LLC, a proud member of the Ghobash Group. As a Duct Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling ductwork systems, inspecting and testing fabricated ducts, and ensuring that all work meets quality standards and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Fabricate and assemble ductwork systems, including ducts, fittings, and related components, according to project specifications and blueprints.
  2. Inspect and test fabricated ducts and systems to ensure they meet quality standards and are free from defects.
  3. Select and handle appropriate materials and tools for duct fabrication, including cutting, bending, and welding.
  4. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the dimensions and configuration of duct systems.
  5. Assemble and install ductwork systems, including connecting ducts to other components and ensuring proper alignment and sealing.
  6. Ensure that all fabricated and installed ductwork adheres to project specifications and industry standards.
  7. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents.
  8. Work with other trades and engineers to integrate ductwork systems into larger projects and resolve any issues that arise during fabrication and installation.
Requirements
  1. High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or diploma in duct fabrication or a related field is preferred.
  2. Proven experience as a duct fabricator in the oil and gas industry. Experience with large-scale projects is an advantage.
