The MEA/CIS Tax Team of LG Electronics is seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Specialist to support tax matters of subsidiaries in the MEA/CIS region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations in the MEA/CIS region, minimizing tax risks and maintaining a strong tax governance framework.
- Tax Policy Development: Collaborate with the tax team to develop and implement internal tax policies that align with business objectives.
- Tax Advisory Services: Provide expert advice and guidance to subsidiary CFOs and tax teams on tax-related matters.
- Transfer Pricing and VAT Management: Review and validate tax filings, including CIT, VAT, and Transfer Pricing, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- UAE CIT Study and Policy Making: Conduct in-depth studies on UAE CIT and develop policies to optimize tax efficiency.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in tax or a recent graduate with a BA in business or accounting.
- Proficient in the English language.
- No restrictions to travel overseas in the Middle East, Africa, and CIS countries.
- Skills in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Preferred to be bilingual with native/fluent proficiency in Arabic or Russian.
