Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team at ICON. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing environmental projects from inception to completion.

  • Project Management and Supervision: You will oversee environmental due diligence, site investigations, and remediation projects, ensuring that tasks are delegated and supervised accordingly.
  • Technical Assessments and Reporting: You will conduct detailed technical assessments and prepare comprehensive reports involving field investigations, sampling, and monitoring activities.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Strategic Advice: You will provide strategic advice on regulatory compliance and environmental risk management, ensuring compliance with local, regional, and international environmental regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Experience and Certification: A minimum of three to four years of experience in the environmental, health, and safety field or consulting, mainly reporting. Professional certification or licensure within ISO14001, ISO45001, ISO64001, LEED, ESTIDAMA PQP, WELL, any additional certification is an added value.
  • Technical and Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and proficiency in environmental assessment methodologies.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
