About the Job
- As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and monitoring the technicians' jobs and activities to ensure efficient and productive work practices.
- You will manage job allocations and additional jobs, prioritizing accordingly to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
- Consistently supervising and monitoring technician performance is crucial to identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
- You will monitor the quality and quantity of work done, time taken, attitude at work, and adherence to 5S principles to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Familiarize each technician with company policies and individual responsibilities to ensure seamless collaboration and communication within the team.
- Ensure all warranty/Port Modification cases in the workshop are observed and reported to the Technical Department to maintain accurate records and prevent potential issues.
- Monitor allowed time vs. actual time taken for work to optimize resource allocation and reduce unnecessary delays.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience as a senior operations manager or equivalent role in a similar industry.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate and direct a team of technicians.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities to prioritize tasks and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Able to analyze data and implement changes to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Knowledge of 5S principles and ability to maintain a safe and organized working environment.
