Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and Implement HSE Policies: Create and implement HSE policies, plans, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  2. Liaise with Stakeholders: Collaborate with Safety Managers, Contractors, and other stakeholders to improve and implement Corporate HSE Management ethics.
  3. Monitor HSE Performance: Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Review Hazard Analysis/Risk Assessment Plans: Review and monitor the effectiveness of hazard control measures, job safety plans, and work method statements at the site.
  5. Conduct Safety Meetings: Organize and conduct regular safety meetings to discuss HSE issues, set targets, and review progress.
  6. Review Incident/Accident Investigation Reports: Review and analyze incident/accident investigation reports to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  7. Perform Other Responsibilities: Perform other duties as required to support the HSE function and promote a culture of safety within the organization.

Requirements:

  1. Education: B.Sc. or equivalent degree/diploma in Environmental/loss prevention or any relevant Engineering disciplines from an accredited University.
  2. Experience: Minimum 7+ years of related work experience in the field of Health and Safety, particularly in Infrastructure projects.
  3. Certifications: Recognized Health and Safety certifications, license, or training in UAE (e.g., ISO, NEBOSH, OSHA First Aid, Fire Safety, etc.).
  4. Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Relevant Experience: Preferably with relevant experience working in an engineering consulting firm.
  2. UAE Experience: Preferably with experience in the UAE and with a driving license is an advantage.
  3. Physical Interviews: Preferably able to attend physical interviews.
