We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Procurement Lead to join our team at Ausnutria Middle East. As a key member of the organization, you will play a critical role in overseeing end-to-end procurement activities for local and international conferences, events, and marketing initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with cross-functional teams to understand event and marketing requirements and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. This includes preparing and managing procurement contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
You will also identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with event organizers, travel agents, hotels, printing and advertising companies, and other relevant vendors. Ensuring all vendors meet company standards for quality, compliance, and ethics is crucial to this role.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining a preferred supplier database, negotiating favourable terms and pricing agreements with suppliers while ensuring quality and compliance standards, monitoring procurement budgets, and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Additionally, you will analyse supplier proposals and select the most cost-effective options, ensure strict adherence to compliance standards for procurement related to infant formula products, implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate risks and ensure audit-readiness, and conduct periodic reviews and audits of suppliers to ensure adherence to contractual terms and quality expectations.
You will also collaborate with finance and accounts teams to process payments, track expenditures, and manage budgets, prepare detailed procurement reports for management, including cost analysis and vendor performance metrics, support audits by maintaining accurate records of all procurement activities, and act as the primary point of contact for suppliers and vendors.
To succeed in this role, you will require more than 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields, preferably in the FMCG or healthcare industry. You should also have extensive and significant professional experience with event organizers, travel agents, and advertising agencies, and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
