We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Excellence Leader to join our team at EMSTEEL Group. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for building and shaping our procurement processes excellence and efficiency, performance management programs, and governance across the organization.
In this strategic role, you will own the ideation of digital transformation processes, ensure alignment with business owners, and develop actionable plans to meet departmental objectives. You will implement best practices to enhance effectiveness and add value to the Source-to-PO and Source-to-Contract Procurement functions.
You will be accountable for monitoring and mitigating operational risk stemming from the procurement model, processes, systems, service provision levels, and staffing availability and effectiveness, identifying improvement opportunities and governance requirements as well as delivering and implementing new functionality with explicit business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and drive a procurement talent management process, including developing talent pipelines for the Procurement team.
- Accountable for the development and implementation of processes and tools that enable the function to achieve its goals, targets, and KPIs.
- Set new, challenging performance goals and horizons for the Procurement function and deliver process and system capabilities for those to be achieved.
- Direct the identification and prioritization of opportunities to remove process waste, automate processes while ensuring control and compliance.
- Develop a world-class high-quality performance excellence framework, developing tools, models, mechanisms, and a suite of KPIs and reporting tailored to provide optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with existing contractual arrangements, the management of customer expectations, and the on-time delivery of agreed commitments.
- Liaise with other procurement functions, internal customers, and stakeholders to ensure a constant flow of data and information leading to continuous improvement in internal procurement Key Performance Indicators.
- Develop high-quality proactive internal relationships and provide a 'help-desk' functionality to end-user departments, delivering constant feedback, data, information, and an excellent record of on-time delivery and quality.
- Responsible for the development of a culture of continuous learning and performance improvement across the entire Procurement Team.
- Accountable for the development and ongoing execution of training and education material ensuring that all stakeholders understand the key Procurement processes, their role within it, and that of others.
- Responsible for effective Procurement process governance across the organization.
- Review and evaluate Procurement performance in conjunction with input from internal and external stakeholders, including user departments.
