About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Surveyor to lead our Infrastructure team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of projects from pre-contract to post-contract phases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Lead a team of surveyors to carry out measurement activities, pre-tender estimates, cost plans, and budgets.
  • Tender Evaluation: Lead a team to evaluate tenders and prepare reports.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate with senior staff to allocate resources to complete tasks on time.
  • Internal Reporting: Own the internal reporting, cost control, and profitability of the team.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise team members with limited supervision, providing general instructions on new assignments.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years' experience in land development and infrastructure projects involving bridges, underpasses, pumping stations, and treatment plants.
  • Qualifications: Must have a QS or Engineering degree and RICS membership.
  • Pre-Contract Experience: Must have pre-contract experience with a consultancy.
  • Consultancy Experience: Previous consultancy experience in a similar position is required.
  • Cost Analysis: Must have exposure to cost analysis and benchmarking.
