About the Role
  • Conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to identify potential issues and develop solutions.
  • Analyze site conditions to determine suitability for construction activity.
  • Participate in Work Inspection Requests, verifying that construction activities align with approved plans and procedures.
  • Monitor the implementation of RE's instructions and ensure adherence to established protocols.
  • Verify setting out and levels to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Identify and address potential risks to services locations and ensure their protection.
  • Document inspection results, test data, and work executed.
  • Examine materials delivered to site and confirm compliance with approved standards.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by monitoring site safety procedures and reporting any breaches.
  • Keep a daily record of construction activities and unusual occurrences.
  • Track progress of completed works for inclusion in monthly reports.
  • Compile defects lists for inspected works and issue non-compliance reports for non-compliant works.
  • Provide regular updates to Engineers on site activities, including progress, quality, and health and safety concerns.
